Fidelity Bank has relocated its headquarters to the once beloved Scranton Electric Building in downtown Scranton, PA. This project focuses on essential core and shell improvements, including masonry restoration, window and door replacements, the refurbishment of stairs, elevators, and restrooms. Given the building’s status as a historic landmark, we are taking great care to ensure that all enhancements remain true to its original 1896 design, with historically accurate detailing for elements such as windows, doors, and molding profiles.
This building was selected due to its deep local significance, it is an iconic landmark in the city, made instantly recognizable by the towering four-story “Electric City” sign atop its roof. One of the most exciting aspects of the renovation is Fidelity’s commitment to restoring the building’s 8th-floor ballroom, which had been neglected in a previous renovation. Now, it will be returned to its former grandeur.
It is currently on track for completion this Spring, 2026.
