Friends of Wissahickon Bridge – FOW

In partnership with Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) and CVM Structural Engineers, we reimagined and revitalized the existing footbridge in the Wissahickon Valley. Once deemed unsafe and inaccessible to pedestrians, the original structure had long served as a critical connector between popular hiking trails and nearby parking areas. Through thoughtful design features and an innovative structural solution, the new footbridge now provides a safe, durable, and aesthetically integrated access point, enhancing the overall trail experience for visitors and reinforcing FOW’s commitment to sustainable outdoor recreation.
