Our Mother of Consolation Parish School
Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, PA
Built in 1915, this stone school building suffered from damage caused by water infiltration over many years. All of the 1960’s aluminum-frame windows needed to be replaced, the mortar joints were in poor condition, and many of the limestone window headers and their corroded steel supports needed replacement.
We staged the repair work over two summers so that it could be completed when school was not in session. New insulated windows restored the building to its historical appearance--on time and on budget.
