We are delighted to announce that two of our recent projects have earned 2020 Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence. The two projects are in some ways complete opposites. One is the modernization of a 12,000 SF estate home built in the era of servants and chauffeurs on a nearly three-acre lot bordering parkland. The other is a renovated 1,400 SF condo in a high-rise apartment tower in Center City, Philadelphia. What they do have in common is their complete renovation to perfectly suit the needs of their new owners.
Ken Kanline, Director of the Awards, noted the strengths of Krieger + Associates. “Winning awards in multiple categories is difficult to do. Not only does this speak to their versatility, but to their commitment to quality on every project,” he said.
The Chrysalis Awards program, begun in 1994, recognizes the nation’s best work in fourteen general categories of residential and commercial remodeling. Entries are judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure. The Chrysalis Awards are open to every professional remodeler and design professional in the United States. This year our projects won Regional Awards in the categories of Residential Historic Renovation and Residential Interior Over $300,000. These are our fourth and fifth Chrysalis awards since 2014.
